Introducing... Festival 2021 visual art

Join Glyndebourne's art curator Nerissa Taysom as she introduces Members to the Festival 2021 visual art programme.

Join Glyndebourne’s art curator Nerissa Taysom as she introduces Members to the Festival 2021 visual art programme, which this year will be viewable online as well as on site.
You can watch a recording of the live event below.

As part of this event, Nerissa will be in conversation with our Associate Artist Tom Hammick, whose series of epic wood carvings are inspired by his passion for Glyndebourne and connection with opera. You’ll also hear more about our all-woman group show, featuring works from a range of artists at different stages of their career. And there’ll be insights into the new sculpture from Halima Cassell that’s just arrived in the gardens, plus the recently discovered archive treasures from acclaimed photographer Ilse Bing.

This year’s art theme is ‘Forces of Nature’. Join Nerissa and Tom at the live digital event to find out more.
