Glyndebourne Education has a full and varied year-round programme.  Since a performance of Fidelio was first taken to HMP Lewes as part of an outreach scheme in the 1950's, Glyndebourne has demonstrated a commitment to the education and development of both new and existing audiences, young and old.

Glyndebourne Education provides learning and participatory opportunities to inform, inspire and develop the enjoyment and understanding of opera through a wide variety of activities. These include our youth opera, partnership projects, Schools' Matinees and Opera Experience scheme as well as talks, study events and new commissions.

Glyndebourne is a member of RESEO, the European Network for Opera and Dance Education.
