OUR MARQUEES OFFER PROTECTION FROM THE ELEMENTS IN THE EVENT OF WET WEATHER, OR MUCH NEEDED SHADE ON A SUMMER AFTERNOON.

Our marquee tables seat up to four people. If you require more than one table for your visit we will ensure that all tables are located together so that your guests will be seated as one group.

To secure a table in one of the marquees during our autumn season you will need to pre-book – explore the options below.

Garden Marquee

Situated in the orchard near the deli, the Garden Marquee is an under-cover option with views across the gardens.

Our marquee and stretch tent tables seat up to four people. If you require more than one table for your visit we will ensure that all tables are located together so that your guests will be seated as one group.

The Garden Marquee offers shelter against the elements during inclement weather, and the panels will be opened on warmer days, creating a shady retreat from the sunshine.

Price: £20 per table (picnic chairs and table for up to 4 people will be provided)

Greenhouse Marquee

The Greenhouse Marquee is adjacent to the Archive Gallery and the main car park.

Our marquee and stretch tent tables seat up to four people. If you require more than one table for your visit we will ensure that all tables are located together so that your guests will be seated as one group.

The Greenhouse Marquee offers shelter against the elements during inclement weather, and the panels will be opened on warmer days, creating a shady retreat from the sunshine.

Price: £10 per table (picnic chairs and table for up to 4 people will be provided)

Festival marquee booking will open in 2023


Opera House picnic tables

Subject to availability, a limited number of covered picnic tables around the opera house will be available to use free of charge on the day, on a first-come-first-served basis. These will be available from the time the gardens open on the day of your visit.

Picnic furniture

You’re welcome to bring your own picnic and outdoor furniture to set up when the gardens open. There will be a limited number of tables, chairs and benches in the garden available to use for free on a first-come-first-served basis.
