Christmas Concert auditions for singers aged 9-13

We are looking ahead to winter 2024 with an exciting opportunity to be a part of our fabulous festive Christmas Concerts; a celebration for all the family featuring the Glyndebourne Chorus and the Glyndebourne Sinfonia.

We are recruiting young singers aged between 9 – 13 years old to perform a variety of festive classics in December 2024.

Rehearsals will be throughout November. Full details and the schedule for this year’s Christmas concerts can be found here.

Auditions and rehearsals will be led by GYO Music Director Ashley Beauchamp and will be held at Glyndebourne.

Auditions will be on Saturday 22 June, and the application deadline is Monday 10 June.

Eligibility

Aged 9 – 13
Upper (unbroken) voices only: treble, soprano and alto
Live within 25 miles of Glyndebourne
Available for all of the rehearsal and performance dates
Have taken part in previous Glyndebourne Youth Opera activity – for example our free workshops
