Your ten step guide

Step 1: Logging in
Once you have clicked on the link above, please enter your email address and password then click ‘Log in’. If you have forgotten your password, or you have not previously logged in to your online account, please click the forgotten password link.
Step 2: Your Details
Once logged in, you will be prompted to enter an up-to-date telephone number on which you can be contacted in case any queries arise when allocating your preferences. If you have any access requirements, please specify them here. Once you are done, click ‘Continue’.
Step 3: Booking Preferences
Use the buttons at the top of the page to indicate your booking preferences. If you forget to indicate your preferences you will be prompted to select these before proceeding to the next section of the form.

If you would like to link your form with another Member, you can do so by checking the ‘Yes’ box, and providing the name and Membership number of the Member you wish to link your application with.

Step 4: Ticket Selections
To make your ticket selections, find the production title of your choice and click on it to start your booking. Start by entering the number of tickets you would like, and then click on the tiles to select your chosen dates.

To put your chosen dates in order of preference, you can use the drag and drop function to move the dates into the correct order.

Once you have selected the number of seats and date preferences, you will be prompted to choose seating areas and prices using the drop down menus. A guide to our seating plan and ticket prices can be found in the Festival brochure.

Step 5: Seating Preferences
To specify your seating preferences, select a seating area and max price from the dropdowns. If you have chosen dates across multiple price bands, the corresponding price points within these areas will be grouped by price banding, i.e. the top price point in the Stalls for price band 1 will be grouped with the top price point for the Stalls for a price band 2 performances, and so forth.

To add another seating option, click the ‘Add another seating preference’ button which appears next to the seating area you have just selected.

Step 6: Add a ‘note’
If you would like to include a note about any additional requests we should take into consideration when allocating your form, please use the ‘Add Note’ button below the seating preferences and fill in the text box to indicate your requirements.

Once you have finished entering your preferences for that opera, click the ‘Done’ button to move onto the next production. If you have forgotten to complete all the fields the ‘Done’ button will be greyed out, so make sure you have completed these before you move on.

You can click ‘Cancel’ to delete your preferences and start again, or delete the opera entirely.

You can proceed to the next section of the form by clicking the ‘Continue’ button. You will be prompted to fill in any fields if you have missed them.

Step 7: Review your opera selections
Once you have finished entering your ticket requests for each opera on the ‘select your tickets’ page, please press the ‘continue button’ to proceed.
Step 8:  Supporting Glyndebourne
If you wish to make a donation, you can enter your chosen amount here. If you do not wish to donate, please click the ‘Continue’ button on the right hand side.
Step 9: Submission

When you are happy with your selections, you can submit your completed booking form to the ballot. Please note that once submitted, no further changes can be made to the online form.

If you have any changes to be made to your application after submitting, please contact the Box Office via boxoffice@glyndebourne.com

Step 10: Confirmation

Once you have submitted your booking form you will receive an email confirming your booking requests. If you do not receive this confirmation, please contact the Box Office.

Booking form FAQs

Submitting your online ticket application form

We always try to seat your party together, but it is not always possible. Please indicate using the tick boxes on the Booking Preferences page whether you would accept seating in pairs, singles or restricted view seats. This may increase your chances of allocation for those performances in high demand.

Foyer Circle sides and Circle sides (including side boxes) are extremely limited in number. Please give alternative seating areas to avoid disappointment. Weekends are incredibly busy so please include weekday alternatives if possible.

I’m having difficulty accessing the online ticket application form. What should I do?

Our new online form has been developed to work with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox. To get the best experience we suggest that you download one of these browsers.

Unfortunately we are unable to support old browser versions or Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is no longer developed by Microsoft and is therefore unable to support modern website features.

Can I link my online ticket application form with another Member?

It is now possible to link application forms submitted online. If you wish to apply for tickets for the same performance as another Member, please provide both the full name and Membership number of the Member you wish to link with. Please note, it is not possible to link different levels of Membership as their applications are dealt with in different ballots, and we are unable to link online forms with postal applications.

I would like to attend the same production on two dates

This is possible, providing your request is within your ticket entitlement per opera (please refer to your Membership allowance for more details). Please complete your requests for both dates using the ‘Add note’ button and filling in the free text box at the bottom of the production you have selected to explain that you wish to attend your chosen opera more than once; the Box Office will then interpret this as an additional date, rather than an alternative.

Can I change my requests once I have submitted my form?

It is not possible to revisit your form to amend your requests after it has been submitted. However, you are able to edit your requests as many times as you would like before submitting your form.

If you have any changes to be made to your application after submitting, please contact Box Office and Customer Service via boxoffice@glyndebourne.com.

I would prefer that my alternative seating options are selected, rather than alternative dates

Please complete your ticket application as normal where you are able to select up to 3 seating areas within the auditorium. If you wish to add more details, for instance to specify that seating areas are more important to you than dates, please use the ‘Additional requests‘ box on the next page of the online form.

What happens once I have submitted my ticket application form?

Once you have submitted your online ticket application form, you will be presented with an on-screen summary of your booking requests. You will also receive an email confirmation of your booking requests. If you do not receive this email, please contact the Box Office.
