Sheherazade Mary Christabel Christie was born on 13 November

Gus Christie and Danielle de Niese are thrilled to announce the safe arrival of a daughter, the first baby girl at Glyndebourne in 54 years.

Sheherazade Mary Christabel Christie, sister to Bacchus, was born on 13 November at 9.24pm, weighing 7lbs 13oz (3.5kg). All are well.

Everyone at Glyndebourne extends their warmest wishes to the family. Welcome, Sheherazade!
