our brand new youth opera – pay the piper opened this weekend.

The Glyndebourne Youth Opera and a cast of professional singers came together to tell the tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

Pay the Piper was composed by Anna Appleby, Ninfea Cruttwell-Reade, Cecilia Livingston and Ailie Robertson – the participants in Balancing the Score, our development scheme exclusively for female composers.
