Glyndebourne greats coming to BBC Radio 3
BBC Radio 3 is to broadcast a series of great Glyndebourne operas from Saturday 23 May.
From Saturday 23 May BBC Radio 3 will be bringing listeners a series of Glyndebourne Greats.
The mini-season will start with Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, continuing with Bizet’s Carmen and concluding with Rossini’s La Cenerentola.
The broadcasts complement Glyndebourne Open House, our weekly series of free operas on YouTube, which starts on Sunday 24 May with The Marriage of Figaro.
