Autumn

Resound

Engaging communities and reaching new audiences

Throughout the year we make opera and music with and for a diverse range of local people.
This culminates in a host of activities that take place alongside our mainstage autumn productions, a programme we call Resound.

In 2023 Resound includes:

GOOD COMPANY

A project taking professional musicians into care homes to engage with people living with dementia.

SING WITH THE GLYNDEBOURNE CHORUS

Messiah masterclass for the general public.

PIT PERFECT RECITALS AND WORKSHOPS

Public recitals and student workshops involving participants from Pit Perfect, Glyndebourne’s development scheme for young professional instrumentalists

ONE VOICE FESTIVAL OF SINGING
In partnership with Create Music

A festive concert in which school children experience the thrill of singing on stage with the Glyndebourne Chorus and members of the Glyndebourne Sinfonia

SINGING SCHOOLS

A network in Sussex through which Glyndebourne works closely with school leadership teams and music hubs to support singing and musical composition in schools, culminating in a sharing in the community with the Glyndebourne Chorus and members of the Glyndebourne Sinfonia.

Glyndebourne is committed to meeting the needs of our audiences and making our Tour welcoming and accessible to everyone. You might also be interested in our Performances for Schools, chilled performances, and audio described performance.
