Support Resound

Help bring Glyndebourne artists together with our local communities.

Help bring together Glyndebourne artists and people of all ages and backgrounds through extraordinary artistic experiences across Sussex this autumn.

Resound is delivered from September to December each year with the aim of breaking down barriers between Glyndebourne’s performing company and communities that otherwise may not engage with our work. Projects include performance participation and audience outreach, all featuring Glyndebourne artists, with activities on our world-renowned stage and in community settings.

With your support, we can give school children the opportunity to sing alongside the Glyndebourne Chorus, deliver music in care homes and reach out to community groups through recitals and other small-scale opera projects.

Sing with the Glyndebourne Chorus

Primary and secondary state school children participate in singing and music sessions across the autumn term which culminates in the extraordinary experience of singing alongside the Glyndebourne Chorus in special performance events.

It’s blown my mind listening to the quality of what the children have produced. The children were singing Mozart on the bus this morning, I don’t think many schools can say that! We’ve just had the best time and I’m so grateful for this opportunity’ Louise, a teacher at St Lewis’ Catholic Primary
