Tragedy gives way to hope in a concert celebrating the resilience and passion of the human spirit – pairing Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet ‘Fantasy Overture’ with Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9.

An evening where love and death, fellowship and freedom unite in two thrilling orchestral masterworks culminating in Beethoven’s exhilarating ‘Ode to Joy’.

Performed by the Glyndebourne Sinfonia, the Glyndebourne Chorus and world-class soloists.
