How did you become involved in music/directing?

How did you become involved with Glyndebourne education?

‘I was working with composer Jonathan Dove and he invited me to a gathering of all sorts of artists at Glyndebourne. I got chosen to work on Walking the Downs from that event.’

What is it like to work with young people?

‘I can’t think of anything more fulfilling. The joy of encouraging the potential in everybody to create art is wonderful work.’

What has been the most memorable moment working with Glyndebourne?

‘Too many to pick one: 7 years with Glyndebourne Youth Opera Group [now Glyndebourne Youth Opera].’

What would you say to anyone thinking about taking part in an education project?

‘You never know what might happen – what you might enjoy, feel and experience so give it a go.’
