Each year we work in partnership with specially selected organisations to help bring new visitors to Glyndebourne, and create exciting new experiences for our audiences. This helps to secure the longevity of Glyndebourne and the Festival.
In 2016 Glyndebourne will once again partner with Telegraph Media Group (TMG) who will be the Festival’s UK online partner for 2016. The partnership (now in its third year) has gone from strength to strength and will see The Telegraph stream full length Glyndebourne operas online for free across the 2016 Festival season from May to August. There will also be comprehensive coverage of the Festival continued across The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and The Telegraph website.
Following a successful first year with an exhibition of new work by Georg Baselitz, White Cube at Glyndebourne will return to the Festival in 2016. The internationally acclaimed gallery will bring another celebrated international artist to present work in the temporary exhibition space, designed for the Festival by the London-based architectural studio Carmody Groarke. The identity of this year’s artist will be revealed shortly.
2016 sees a further new partnership with House and Garden magazine who will host an exclusive event exploring inspirational landscapes with celebrated garden writer and broadcaster Anna Pavord and internationally renowned garden designer, Arne Maynard. Along with this special event House and Garden readers will have access to purchase Festival tickets. Glyndebourne Members will have access to book tickets to the House and Garden event from 24 February. We will communicate the booking process for this event in late February.
