New partnership between Glyndebourne and Telegraph TV is announced
Telegraph TV, Glyndebourne and More2Screen today announce a partnership that will enable Glyndebourne content to be streamed on telegraph.co.uk, and will give the Telegraph audience access to an exclusive promotional offer for Glyndebourne’s cinema season, Glyndebourne on Screen.
A 14-minute clip of Hänsel und Gretel, one of three Glyndebourne productions, screening in cinemas nationwide from this weekend, will be made exclusively available in high definition and high quality sound on telegraph.co.uk via a next generation player powered by Videojuicer.
Nine shorter clips will be also be available to view in Telegraph TV’s usual player. Clips include extracts from the other two productions screening in cinemas – Giulio Cesare and La Cenerentola – along with excerpts from a film about Glyndebourne and backstage glimpses of the opera house.
Telegraph readers and users can also take advantage of an exclusive Kids Go Free offer. This is available to those booking tickets for Glyndebourne’s season of screenings in participating digital cinemas nationwide throughout November and December (starting from the 8th November to the 31st December 2008).
Telegraph.co.uk users can also enter a prize draw to win tickets to the Glyndebourne Festival 2009.
