Die Entführung aus dem Serail – Culture Clash: East meets West in Mozart

The event will be hosted by John Snelson, Head of Publishing and Interpretation at the Royal Opera House, and will feature insights from Matthew Dimmock, Professor of Early Modern Studies at the University of Sussex, and Matthew Head, Professor of Music at King’s College London.
The day will feature fascinating historical detail, exploring Mozart’s inspirations and influences, followed by music from Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment players.
