Nationality: Italian
Born in Milan, he studied in his hometown’s Civica Scuola di Musica under Ilia Aramayo Sandivari and at the Académie Européenne de Musique in Aix-en-Provence where he followed masterclasses with Rachel Yakar and Edda Moser. He is a prizewinner at several international competitions, including the 2004 Viotti Competition in Vercelli and the 2006 Viñas Competition in Barcelona. Specialising in buffo roles, he has been a member of the ensemble at Deutsche Oper Berlin and has performed in prestigious European theatres including Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, ROH, Théâtre du Châtelet and Polish State Opera.
