He has just completed his first season as Chief Conductor and Co-Operndirektor of Oper Bern. From 2018 to 2021 he was Chief Conductor of Stadttheater Klagenfurt and Kärntner Sinfonieorchester. Born in Melbourne, he enjoys an ongoing relationship with all the major Australian orchestras, particularly with the Adelaide Symphony, where he served as Principal Conductor from 2016 to 2019.
