Position: Librettist
Melanie Wilson is a UK based multi-disciplinary performance maker. Her acclaimed work is founded on the contemporary interplay between sound, experimental forms of composition, language, technology and live performance. As a writer, sound artist and composer she has collaborated with artists and companies in the UK and internationally, across theatre, film, opera, installation and choreography. She is a long term composer collaborator with director Katie Mitchell, and has recently completed the Sound and Music New Voices composer programme. Taken from the Tour 2022 programme book.
