Amy Holyland

Details

Position: Singer

Voice: Mezzo-Soprano

Nationality: British

Originally from South Cumbria, she graduated from GSMD’s opera course where she studied with John Evans. She is also a graduate of RAM and the University of Manchester. Recent awards include a DipRAM for an outstanding final Master’s recital at the Royal Academy of Music, highly commended in the Isabel Jay Memorial Prize in 2019 and very highly commended in the Royal Academy’s Bicentenary Award at Wigmore Hall in 2020. Prior to moving to London to pursue her operatic studies, Amy was a Head of Music in North Yorkshire and remains passionate about teaching and inspiring young musicians.
