Originally from South Cumbria, Amy is the joint winner of Glyndebourne’s prestigious John Christie Award for the 2022 season. She is also an ENO Harewood Artist for the 22/23 and 23/24 seasons. Amy graduated from GSMD’s opera course where she studied with John Evans and is also a graduate of RAM and the University of Manchester. Prior to moving to London to pursue her operatic studies, she was a Head of Music in North Yorkshire and remains passionate about teaching and inspiring young musicians.
