Nationality: Russian
Specializing in Mozart and early music, he has worked with numerous renowned conductors including Leonardo García Alarcón, Alberto Zedda, Ottavio Dantone, Christophe Rousset and Christopher Moulds. He debuted as Figaro at Moscow’s Helikon Opera and has performed the role internationally including at Opernhaus Zürich. He sang Papageno/Die Zauberflöte and Guglielmo/Così fan tutte at the Bolshoi, and following a Mozart Residency at Aix he returned to the Festival as Erimante/Erismena, a role he also performed at Opéra Royal de Versailles, Saint-Denis Festival and Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg. Other notable engagements include Ebro and Giove/La morte d’Orfeo (DNOB), and Fenicio/Ermione and Emireno/Ottone in concert (Moscow Philharmonic). Taken from the Tour 2022 programme book.
