Songs to Share

This project brings together teachers, community musicians, youth workers, social workers and colleagues from public health to make music together

Songs to Share is a vocal leadership programme for local teachers, community musicians and professionals who wish to develop their choral leadership skills and make music together.

As part of our ongoing partnership work with local music hubs (East Sussex Music and Soundcity) we run sessions in Brighton & Hove and across East Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who lead choirs in schools and community music leaders to take part in CPD with Glyndebourne professionals.

Unfortunately the ongoing uncertainty around COVID-19 means Songs to Share is on hold until further notice. Please sign up to our mailing list to receive updates on this and other opportunities as soon as they are announced.

Previous sessions

Previous sessions have been led by Lee Reynolds (Glyndebourne Youth Opera Music Director), Mary King (Glyndebourne Vocal Talent Consultant) and renowned Choral specialist Travis Baker, covering;

  • The basics of choral leadership
  • Vocal health
  • Part singing and harmony
