How to book for Members

A detailed guide on how to book your Festival 2021 tickets online.

Welcome to our easy booking guide. We know some of you may never have booked your Festival tickets online before so we have put together this easy to follow guide to help you book your tickets this year.

Before you start the booking process please check that your browser is up to date. Our website has been developed to work with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox. To get the best experience we suggest that you download one of these browsers.

Unfortunately we are unable to support old browser versions or Internet Explorer.  Internet Explorer is no longer developed by Microsoft and is therefore unable to support modern website features.

If you are having any problems with your booking our Box Office team will be available via phone from 10.00am to 10.00pm on Sunday 14 March on +44 (0)1273 815 000. On Monday 15 March our Box Office team will be available via phone from 8.00am to 8.00pm.

CAN I BOOK FOR OTHER PEOPLE OR BRING A GUEST?

To allow for social distancing within the auditorium, most seats are arranged in pairs (with adjacent seats left vacant for your safety). Please note: Glyndebourne will follow the relevant Public Health England guidelines at the time of your visit. Currently, the advice for stage 3 (when indoor performances can resume) is that you will be able to meet indoors either as a group of six, or with one other household. This would mean that you could sit next to someone from a different household in your pair of seats in the auditorium.

Online waiting room

If booking is busy, you will be put into an online waiting room where you will be given an approximate waiting time and position in the queue.


Step 1

Log in to your Glyndebourne account by following these steps:

Click ‘Login’ in the top right corner of the website, this is indicated by the red arrow on the following image.

You will be taken to the Log in page. Enter your email address and password and click the ‘LOG IN’ button.

If you have not previously logged into your account online or you have forgotten your password, please click on ‘forgotten password’.

Step 2

Once you have logged into your account you will be taken to the ‘My Account’ page. On this page you will see a ‘BOOK TICKETS’ button. Click on the ‘BOOK TICKETS’ button.

Step 3

Next, you will be taken to the Festival season page. Here you can find all the operas and concerts we are performing this summer.

Select the date you would like to attend from the drop down list. The ‘BOOK’ button will activate once a date has been selected.

Step 4

After clicking ‘BOOK’ for your selected dates you will be taken to the auditorium map. Select the area of the auditorium you wish to sit in. The area you are selecting will show in colour and the rest of the auditorium will be greyed out.

You will then be taken to a seat map of the selected area.

Step 5

Select your seats from the seat map. You can use the controls on the right hand side of the seat map to select different dates or easily see the different seating areas in the auditorium.

Your selected tickets will appear at the bottom of the page. Once you have made your selection click the ‘ADD TO BASKET’ button. Continue to checkout.

Step 6

These tickets will now be in your shopping basket. Click ‘CHECKOUT’ to proceed to payment or click ‘Continue Shopping’ to add more tickets to your basket.

Step 7

An optional donation can be made to our Annual Fund at this point. If you would like to make a donation, please select an amount or click ‘Donate other amount’ to manually type in a donation amount.

If you do not wish to make a donation, click the ‘NO THANKS’ button. 

Step 8

Confirm your delivery method and click ‘PROCEED TO PAYMENT’.

Step 9

If you have a voucher code, please enter it in the ‘Add a gift voucher’ box and click the APPLY button.

Take a moment to review your order. If you are happy, click the ‘PAY NOW’ button to continue.

Step 10

On the ‘Payment Method’ page please enter your payment details. Once you are happy, please tick the boxes and click the ‘PAY NOW’ button to continue.

You will see a confirmation window and also receive a confirmation email.
