Stage Administration Assistant
Part Time, 16 April – 31 August 2018
We have a vacancy for an Assistant to support the Head of Stage and Stage Supervisors with administrative and some technical duties over our busy summer Festival.
We are looking for someone with experience of technical theatre including production scheduling, knowledge of stage terminology and working practices, and working with union agreements. In addition, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and proficient in MS Office and its Google equivalents.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the Head of Stage with the compilation of weekly schedules
- Completing and checking weekly time sheets
- Supporting the Head of Stage, Supervisors and Flymen with Health and Safety documentation and other administration
- Arranging seating as required in rehearsal areas
Salary & Benefits
This is an hourly paid position starting at £10.10 per hour, dependent on experience.
The contractual hours are 21 per week 09:30 – 17:30 Monday, Thursday and Friday, however, this can be flexible by prior agreement.
We offer 5.6 weeks holiday (pro-rata) per year including public holidays.
