Bringing the House Down
A concert at Glyndebourne for the Meath Epilepsy Charity
Organised by Brindley Sherratt in aid of The Meath Epilepsy Charity and compèred by Classic FM presenter, John Suchet, this wonderful concert will bring you popular arias and ensembles from opera and musicals.
Joining Brindley to ‘bring the house down’ will be:
Huw Montague Rendall
Mark Padmore CBE
Freddie de Tommaso
They will be accompanied by Matthew Fletcher and Caroline Dushanthi Jaya-Ratnam.
The concert is in support of The Meath Epilepsy Charity (in Godalming), where Brindley’s daughter Amy lives as she has complex epilepsy. With the support given at The Meath, she and her friends are enabled to lead as independent, creative and fulfilling lives as possible.Through this concert The Meath aims to raise £150,000 to further enrich the quality of life for the people they support by funding a series of exciting projects. In support of this, all the performers have generously agreed to donate their services for the event, which is organised by Brindley, Chris, Matt and Amy Sherratt.
On the day, weather permitting, you can bring your own picnic and enjoy the delights of the gardens – or take afternoon tea in Mildmay or a glass of champagne in the Long Bar. Access to the grounds will be from 1.00 pm: the concert will start at 3.00 pm and finish at approximately 6.00 pm.

In addition, there will be a VIP experience, which includes an invitation to the after-performance champagne reception, where you can mingle with the stars.
