Bringing the House Down
A concert at Glyndebourne for the Meath Epilepsy Charity
Seldom has such a stellar line-up of world-class British-based singers been assembled for one performance. Singing popular arias and ensembles from operas and musicals, they will ‘bring the house down’ in this wonderful concert to be compered by Classic FM presenter, John Suchet.
Furthermore, all the performers have generously agreed to donate their services for the event, which is organised by Brindley, Chris, Matt and Amy Sherratt. Amy lives in The Meath (in Godalming) as she has complex epilepsy but with the support given at The Meath, she and her friends are enabled to lead as independent, creative and fulfilling lives as possible.
In support of this aim The Meath Epilepsy Charity wants to raise £150,000 to further enrich the quality of life for The Meath residents through a series of exciting music, horticulture and animal projects.
Weather permitting, you can bring your own picnic and enjoy the delights of the gardens – or take afternoon tea or a glass of champagne in the bars. Access to the grounds will be from 1.00pm.
