Bringing the House Down
A concert at Glyndebourne for the Meath Epilepsy Charity
Performing popular arias and ensembles from opera and musicals, together, they will ‘bring the house down’ in this wonderful concert to be compèred by Classic FM presenter, John Suchet. It is hoped that the final line-up will be announced in November.
The concert is in support of The Meath Epilepsy Charity (in Godalming), where Brindley’s daughter Amy lives as she has complex epilepsy. With the support given at The Meath, she and her friends are enabled to lead as independent, creative and fulfilling lives as possible.Through this concert The Meath aims to raise £150,000 to further enrich the quality of life for the people they support by funding a series of exciting projects. In support of this, all the performers have generously agreed to donate their services for the event, which is organised by Brindley, Chris, Matt and Amy Sherratt.
On the day, weather permitting, you can bring your own picnic and enjoy the delights of the gardens – or take afternoon tea or a glass of champagne in the bars. Access to the grounds will be from 1.00 pm: the concert will start at 3.00 pm and finish at approximately 5.00 pm. In addition, there will be a VIP experience, which includes an invitation to the after-performance champagne reception, where you can mingle with the stars, if you are interested in this, please indicate this in your email as set out in the next paragraph.
Tickets will not go on sale until the performers are announced but in the meantime if you are interested in buying tickets please email email@example.com; (not Glyndebourne) we will place you on the priority waiting list and we will contact you shortly before the remaining tickets go on sale.
As previously advised new tickets will not be issued and so you should retain those you have already received, which, other than the date, will be valid in the same way as they would have been on 5 April 2020. If you would like to purchase additional tickets, please see the previous paragraph.
