GYO Workshops

Glyndebourne Youth Opera Workshops

Every year Glyndebourne Youth Opera provides local young people with world-class performance opportunities and engaging opera workshops open to all. Activity is streamed according to age group:

GYO 1: Ages 9-13
GYO 2: Ages 14-19

Any child living within a 25-mile radius of Glyndebourne is invited to take part in workshops in the Spring and Autumn terms. These introduce young people to the world of opera, through performing, creating and learning about opera from every angle. Any child who takes part in a workshop becomes eligible to audition for a GYO performance project.
