Watch Gus Christie, our Executive Chairman, talk about the year that’s passed, within the belly of our nearly completed new Production Hub.

2018 has been a special year – starting with the inaugural Glyndebourne Opera Cup (the international opera singing competition); welcoming 125,000 people to watch our nine productions in the Festival and the Tour; celebrating 50 years of the Tour with a special Golden Anniversary event at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London and finishing with a festive concert back at Glyndebourne. Offstage we have been in the process of constructing our new Production Hub – a state-of-the-art building which will provide a befitting space for our world-class making departments – which will be opened early next year.
