Glyndebourne announces 2014 Festival partnership with The Telegraph

Glyndebourne is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Telegraph Media Group (TMG) that will see The Telegraph become the opera house’s 2014 online Festival partner in the UK.

The new partnership – launched in Glyndebourne’s 80th anniversary year – will see The Telegraph stream three full length Glyndebourne operas online across the 2014 Festival season from May to September. TMG will provide extensive coverage of the Festival across: The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and The Telegraph website.

Glyndebourne has had a long-standing commitment to supporting digital developments to bring the art form to new audiences; the BBC first aired Glyndebourne operas in the 1930’s and since then broadcasts have been an essential element of the Glyndebourne experience, enabling the opera house to share the art form with as many people as possible. The Telegraph partnership provides an exciting new opportunity for Glyndebourne to share Festival productions in its 80th anniversary year.
