Become an Associate Member and be part of the future of Glyndebourne
Be part of the future of Glyndebourne
The Festival Society was created in 1951 to support the Glyndebourne Festival, which receives no public funding. Each year our 9,500 members make a vital contribution to Glyndebourne’s stability and success through annual subscriptions, donations and buying tickets to new and established repertoire. As places in the Festival Society become available, applications are invited to a ballot for Associate Membership places - offering you an exclusive opportunity to join the waiting list for the Glyndebourne Festival Society.
What is Associate Membership?
Associate Membership is the waiting list for membership of the Festival Society. Associate Members receive benefits including second priority booking for Festival tickets immediately after the Festival Society members’ ticket ballot. They also receive advance information about the Festival each year. For further information about Associate Membership see Frequently Asked Questions
Associate members pay a one-off non-refundable registration fee of £500 and an annual subscription (currently £75). We estimate that Associate Members will have an average wait of ten years for membership of the Festival Society. Applicants must be aged 21 or over. When an Associate Member reaches the top of the waiting list they are offered Festival Society membership. For further information about Festival Society membership see Frequently Answered Questions
