Glyndebourne is synonymous with world-class opera in an award-winning auditorium, champagne at the Long Bar, walks around the beautiful gardens and fine dining in one of the three onsite restaurants – all in an English country house environment nestled within the South Downs.
Our Corporate Members find the experiential nature of opera at Glyndebourne the perfect setting in which to entertain clients within easy access of London.
One Night Exclusive Events
For a more extensive event or a special occasion, Glyndebourne offer One Night Exclusive Events for up to 30 people. With private access to the Old Green Room for the evening, your guests will enjoy pre-performance drinks and canapés, premium tickets, three course fine dining and complimentary Programme Books. A dedicated team will attend to your needs from booking until the end of the night.
Additional options to make your event unique include post performance drinks with cast members, a backstage “bridge” tour or a full tour taking in a select production department such as wigs, costumes or on the stage.
Fine dining in Middle and Over Wallop Restaurant
Where to Dine
Corporate clients usually enjoy entertaining in the Middle & Over Wallop restaurant, for a formal dining occasion. Swarovski crystal chandeliers, towering waiter stations housing props from past Glyndebourne productions and a large-scale mural from La traviata present the perfect backdrop in which to enjoy Leith’s fine dining at its best.
The Mildmay restaurant is a great alternative, offering the fine dining experience in a more relaxed environment.
Other options for dining at Glyndebourne include fully catered picnics, afternoon tea and a popular hot carvery.
Dinner reservations can be made online.
We recommend advance booking for One Night Exclusive Events from October onwards. For further information, please contact:
