Tom Hammick Prints 2010

Tom Hammick has a growing reputation as a painter and printmaker. These etchings are made by Hammick at Thumbprint Studios London, to celebrate the Glyndebourne 2010 Festival Season. The work has been made in intaglio, in response to the music and libretti of the 2010 Festival operas. In etching it is possible to achieve fine detail within the image. As artist’s posters, etching is a rare medium to use in such scale because of the complexity of the process
