He graduated from Utrecht Conservatory in 2006 and continues his studies at the Performing Arts for Singers Academy, where he has attended lessons with Harry Peeters, Gilbert den Broeder, Carole Wilson and Cristina Deutekom. He joined the Glyndebourne Chorus in 2007 and was the recipient of the 2007 John Christie Award.
Roles include Tamino in the children’s version of Die Zauberflöte (Concertgebouw, La Monnaie, Vlaamse Opera, Ghent and Luxembourg); Pedrillo/Die Entführung aus dem Serial (Opera Company Transparent, Antwerp); Gomatz/Zaïde (Opera Trionfo); Joe/La fanciulla del West (Concertgebouw Saturday Matinee); The Little Old Man (Arithmatic)/ L’Enfant et les sortilèges.
Plans include the Christmas Oratorio (with Bruno Weil and the Limburg Symphony Orchestra); Licone/Orlando paladino (Concertgebouw Saturday Matinee); Shepherd, Young Sailor/Tristan und Isolde (GFO).
