Born in Sweden, she studied at the RAM and the NOS. She made her GFO debut in 2001 singing Barbarina/Le nozze di Figaro, followed by Susanna/Le nozze di Figaro (GOT).
Subsequent roles include Diane/Iphigénie en Aulide, Ilia/Idomeneo (GFO, Hamburg State Opera, Liceu); Mélisande/Pelléas et Mélisande (GFO, Palermo, La Scala); Sophie/Der Rosenkavalier (Opera North); Pamina/Die Zauberflöte (Scottish Opera, Nantes, Madrid, Hyogo Arts Centre , Japan); Eurydice/Orphée et Eurydice (Lausanne, Stockholm); Xenia/Boris Godunov, Ginevra/Ariodante (Liceu); Belinda/Dido and Aeneas (La Scala).
Concerts include a BBC Proms performance of Brahms’s Requiem (with James Conlon); Christmas Oratorio (with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants); Mozart’s Requiem (with the LSO and Colin Davis). Future appearances include Pamina/Die Zauberflöte (Los Angeles); Susanna (Netherlands Opera); L’arbore di Diana (Barcelona); Donna Clara/Der Zwerg (Liceu).
