The Australian-born American soprano studied at the Colburn School, Los Angeles and Mannes College of Music, New York.

Roles include Susanna/Le nozze di Figaro (Netherlands Opera, Tokyo); Nannetta/Falstaff (Sante Fe); the title role in L’Enfant et les sortilèges (the Met); Cleopatra/Giulio Cesare (GFO, Netherlands Opera, Opéra National de Paris); Lauretta/Gianni Schicchi (Los Angeles, Tokyo); Zerlina/Don Giovanni (Prague Spring Festival); Amore/Orfeo ed Euridice (Naples); Poppea (Lyon, Zurich); Poppea, Tytania/A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Chicago); the title role in Rodelinda (COC); Despina/Cosí fan tutte (Lyon, Netherlands Opera); Ginerva/Ariodante (Champs-Elysées).

She has performed in concert with the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, the National Symphony and the San Francisco Symphony. Signed to Decca, her debut album, Handel Arias (with William Christie and Les Artes Florissants) was released last October.

Future engagements include Ginerva/Ariodante (Vienna); Euridice/Orfeo (the Met).
