He was a choral scholar at Wells Cathedral before graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge, in 2002.

Concerts include Haydn’s The Seasons (Huddersfield Choral Society); Bach’s B Minor Mass (Bach Choir); Messiah (ECO, OAE in Madrid, National Symphony Orchestra in Washington); L’Enfance du Christ (ECO); Bach’s Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio (Combattimento Consort Amsterdam); The Vanishing Bridegroom (with the BBC SO). He has performed on tour with Gardiner, Minkowski, Christie (Le Jardin des Voix). Recordings include Le Jardin des Voix (Virgin Classics); Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle (Hyperion).
