Born in London, she trained as a classical dancer before studying at the RNCM and the NOS.
She has sung Cherubino/Le nozze de Figaro, Miss Wordsworth/Albert Herring (GOT); First Niece/Peter Grimes, Belinda/Dido and Aeneas, La Musica/Orfeo (Opera North); The Philosopher’s Stone (Garsington); La Belle Hélène (ENO); Orlando (Early Opera Company); The Io Passion (Aldeburgh, Almeida, Bregenz festivals); Despina/Così fan tutte (ETO, Samling Foundation).
In concert, she has performed with the OAE, CBSO, BBCSO, Northern Sinfonia, Les Concerts d’Astrée. She has worked with conductors including Boyd, Brabbins, Comte, Cooper, Gardner, Haïm, Jurowski, Kraemer, Lacey, Langrée, McGegan, Roesner and Zehetmair. Future engagements include Skin Deep (Opera North); Antigona/Admeto (Göttingen Handel Festival); La serva padrona (Gabrieli Consort); St Matthew Passion (OAE).
