Born in the USA, she holds a Bachelor degree and a Masters in Music from the University of Georgia and Manhattan School of Music respectively. A participant in the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’s Gerdine Young Artist Program and the Santa Fe Opera’s Apprentice Singer Program, she received the Anna Case Mackay Award following completion of the latter. She has sung Baroness Aspasia/La pietra del paragone (Châtelet, Parma); Mercédès/Carmen (Tulsa); Stéphano/ Roméo et Juliette, Third Lady/Die Zauberflöte (Pittsburgh); Ein Mädchen/Die schwarze Spinne (Gotham Chamber Opera); Dido/Dido and Aeneas, Cherubino/Le nozze di Figaro (with the One World Symphony); Prince Charming/Cendrillon (Santa Fe); title role/Serse (Pittsburgh Opera Center); Irene/Tamerlano (Madrid); and Idamante/Idomeneo (Bordeaux). Her concert appearances include Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Beethoven’s Mass in C Minor (Georgia), Messiah (Kansas City Symphony Orchestra); Mozart’s Requiem (Pacific Symphony, California) and Schumann’s Requiem (La Chambre Philharmonique, Paris). Future engagements include Cherubino (Dallas) and Diane/Hippolyte et Aricie (Toulouse).
