Born in Madrid, she began her dance training at the Victor Ullate School in Madrid, before joining the Stuttgart Ballet in 1992.
Here roles included Lilac Fairy/The Sleeping Beauty, Isabella/Edward II, and solo roles in Scholz’s Beethoven Symphonie and Bartók Concert. She joined the Birmingham Royal Ballet in 1996. Her repertory includes Lady Elgar/Enigma Variations, Terpsichore/Apollo, Siren/Prodigal Son, Alice Hobson/Hobson’s Choice, Fortuna/Carmina burana, The Protecting Veil, Myrtha/Giselle, Des Pas sur la neige/Brouillards, Princess Tsarevna/The Firebird, ‘Somethin’ Stupid’/Nine Sinatra Songs, Black Queen/Checkmate, Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Fairy, Arabian Dance/The Nutcracker, Lilac Fairy/The Sleeping Beauty, Odette/Odile, Polish Princess, Hungarian Princess, Swans/Swan Lake.
She has created roles for David Bintley’s productions, including Margause/Arthur Part 2, Vanité/Beauty and the Beast, Candy Kane/The Nutcracker Sweeties. She has worked with Nacho Duato, Hans Van Manen and Stephan Thoss.
