What are the benefits of being a Member of the Glyndebourne Festival Society?

Members of Glyndebourne Festival Society receive the following benefits:

  • Advance information and behind the scenes insights
  • Triannual Member newsletter
  • Advance information: season launch, production schedule, cast and creative team and Introducing… series each autumn giving insights into every production

HOW CAN I BECOME A MEMBER OF THE GLYNDEBOURNE FESTIVAL SOCIETY?

By applying for Associate Membership – the waiting list for Festival Society Membership.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP?

In addition to joining the waiting list for Membership of the Festival Society, Associate Members receive second priority booking for Festival tickets immediately after Festival Society Members. They also receive advance information about the Festival and regular newsletters.

CAN I HOLD MY MEMBERSHIP OR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP JOINTLY WITH MY  SPOUSE/PARTNER?

Memberships can be held jointly between partners or spouses. If you wish to add your partner’s name to your Membership or Associate Membership please send a written request by email to membership@glyndebourne.com

CAN I PASS MY MEMBERSHIP DOWN TO MY CHILDREN?

We regret that as we have a waiting list for Membership, Memberships cannot be passed to anyone other than a spouse or partner. Memberships cannot be inherited by children or grandchildren.

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS?

Subscription rates listed below are in advance of Festival 2023

  • 1 year subscription is £206
  • 10 year subscription is £1,850*
  • 20 year subscription is £3,700*
  • Life Membership is £6,000✝

* A payment received by December 2022 will cover your subscriptions up to and including Festival 2032 for a 10 year Membership or Festival 2042 for a 20 year Membership.

✝ A payment received by December 2022 will cover all your future Festival Society Membership subscriptions. Your Membership benefits will remain the same.

Associate Members are welcome to pay their subscriptions through Life Membership which would cover all subscriptions as an Associate Member, and once promoted, as a Festival Society Member too.

CAN I GIFT AID MY SUBSCRIPTION TO THE GLYNDEBOURNE FESTIVAL SOCIETY?

Yes! Glyndebourne is currently entitled to claim 25p from HM Revenue and Customs for each £1 of your subscription.For information about eligibility to Gift Aid and to download a Gift Aid declaration please see Tax efficient giving.

CAN I PAY MY SUBSCRIPTION BY DIRECT DEBIT?

Yes. Direct Debit offers you the security of knowing that your subscription will be automatically renewed each year.

To set up a Direct Debit simply call Glyndebourne Membership on +44 (0)1273 815 400 (Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 5.00pm) or download and complete our Direct Debit mandate return it to:

Unfortunately we are unable to set up Direct Debits by fax.

HOW DO I CHANGE A MEMBERSHIP ADDRESS OR PROVIDE NEW CONTACT DETAILS?
