There are wheelchair spaces at Foyer Circle level only. Please indicate to the Box Office before purchasing seats whether you require a wheelchair space. If you have an access requirement that could hamper yourself or others in the event of an evacuation, you are requested to inform the Box Office.
- Wheelchair users must be accompanied by an able-bodied companion.
- Adapted lavatories are situated on the Blue side at Foyer Circle level, next to the Wallops restaurants and in the Plashett Building
- There is a lift to all levels but please note that there is no wheelchair access to the Stalls.
- Assistance dogs welcome
Glyndebourne has a number of wheelchairs that can be borrowed for the evening. Please call the Information Office on 01273 815000 to book in advance.
Please let us know if you require additional assistance from the Glyndebourne staff, who will be very willing to help.
Restaurant access
Wheelchair access is possible in all restaurants except Middle Wallop. When making your restaurant booking, please mention that you are a wheelchair-user to ensure that a convenient table is allocated for you.
Driving to Glyndebourne
Drivers with access requirements who wish to park close to the theatre
should contact the Glyndebourne Transport Office on 01273 812321 in advance to ensure that a space is reserved. Other cars carrying patrons with access requirements are asked to set their passengers down at the Set Down Point
Infra-red sound enhancement
The auditorium is equipped with a sound enhancement system.
Receivers may be borrowed on request from the House Manager’s office, which is situated at the Set Down point.
