Orchestra Pit Assistants

2 May – 26 August 2018, Average 17 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for two Pit Assistants to assist the Pit Manager with changeovers of the Orchestra Pit layout between rehearsals and performances for the forthcoming summer festival.

The work involves moving performing blocks, music stands and keyboard instruments. You will need to be physically fit.

Special Requirements

No previous experience is required but due to the split shifts and start/finish times applicants should have their own transport.

Hours of Work

An average of 17 hours per week split between morning sessions 8:30 – 10:00am and mid-day sessions 1:30 – 3:00pm, Monday – Friday, with some weekend work, but no Saturday evenings.

Salary & Benefits

We offer a rate of pay of £8.16 per hour/ £138.72 per week

5.6 weeks holiday inclusive of bank holidays per annum pro rata
