London Talks

This year Glyndebourne Education are presenting three London Talks about the new productions being prepared for the 2008 Festival.

These talks are an exclusive opportunity to hear from members of the creative team who shape our repertoire. They are hosted by an academic, usually an expert on music, opera or composition. They will be joined by the production's Conductor or Director who give a candid and unique insight into the production in progress.

Participants this year include music journalists Edward Seckerson and David Nice, Director Robert Carsen and Glyndebourne's Composer-in-Residence Julian Phillips.

Events, priced £20.00, will take place at:

The English Speaking Union,
Dartmouth House,
37 Charles Street,
London W1J 5ED
(nearest tube station: Green Park).

See venue information on the English Speaking Union website.

Ticket holders are invited to join us for a drinks reception beforehand at 6.30pm. The talk starts at 7.00pm and lasts for approximately one hour.
