Fireworks over the Ha-Ha at the 75th Anniversary Celebration Concert.

Glyndebourne's 75th Anniversary Celebration Concert was organized to mark 75 years since the first Festival in 1934. This unique evening celebrated the history of Glyndebourne and featured a range of Glyndebourne artists, both past and present, who performed to a packed auditorium. The London Philharmonic Orchestra and The Glyndebourne Chorus were conducted by Glyndebourne's Music Director, Vladimir Jurowski.

Glyndebourne's New Generation Fund
Any surplus funds generated from this event will contribute to our New Generation Fund which has been established to guarantee long term artistic and audience development plans. The main motivation of The New Generation Fund will be to invest in the development of Glyndebourne's artistic excellence by encouraging the training of emerging artists and helping build new audiences for opera.
