As an international opera house, Glyndebourne has outstanding backstage departments with state of the art technical equipment and with highly skilled staff who create all the costumes, wigs and props on site for the award winning productions at Glyndebourne.

Glyndebourne Education is keen to provide opportunities for students exploring a career in the various making departments and technical side of theatre. Once a year we will provide a day of backstage tours, practical workshops and careers advice for undergraduate students interested in finding out more about the world of work behind the scenes of an internationally renowned venue.

Please contact Amy Bere: for further information or to register your interest. If you are enrolled on a vocational theatre crafts course, you can also apply for a work experience placement in a suitable department.
