Glyndebourne seeks young performers from Sussex to perform in its next community opera

Glyndebourne will host six workshops in April for anyone aged 14 – 19 interested in appearing in its next community opera in 2016.

The workshops will take place in Brighton, Eastbourne and at Glyndebourne and are a chance to find out more about being part of a Glyndebourne Youth Opera project.

In February 2016 members of Glyndebourne Youth Opera will perform alongside professional singers on the main stage at Glyndebourne in a new opera called Nothing adapted from the young adult book by Danish author Janne Teller. By attending a workshop you will become eligible to audition for a part in the production in June.

The workshops take place on 18, 19 and 25 April are open to any young person aged 14 – 19 and living within 25 miles of Glyndebourne.
